Magni Gyro ("we", "us", or "our") operates the myGyro mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our App.
By using myGyro, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of data to provide and improve the App:
- ACCOUNT Email address, first name, last name — provided voluntarily during registration and stored in Firebase Authentication and Firestore.
- DEVICE Gyroplane serial number, operating time, Bluetooth MAC address — collected when you pair a device with the App.
- USAGE App usage events — anonymised page-view and interaction events collected via Firebase Analytics to help us understand feature usage.
- TECHNICAL Crash reports and diagnostics — collected automatically via Firebase Crashlytics to identify and fix stability issues.
We do not collect precise GPS location, payment information, or biometric data.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate your account and provide personalised features.
- To store and synchronise device configuration settings via the cloud.
- To deliver firmware update notifications relevant to your paired device.
- To analyse App usage in aggregate and improve the user experience.
- To diagnose crashes and technical errors.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
myGyro uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own Privacy Policy:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Storage) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7). Analytics data is retained for a maximum of 14 months in accordance with Google's default retention policy.
6. Data Security
All data in transit is encrypted via TLS. Firestore data is secured by Firebase Security Rules that restrict access to the authenticated account owner only. We follow current industry practices to protect your information, but no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
7. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on your location, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate data.
- Erase your account and associated data ("right to be forgotten").
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent for Analytics at any time via the App settings.

8. Children's Privacy
myGyro is intended for adults operating or maintaining gyroplane aircraft. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
